@fizzles5 Not to mention had Kamina not died, Simon wouldn’t have become the man he was. Yes kamina was awesome, and its sad he died, his death added more character development, and it was overall awesome, he get’s killed, get’s back up, and revenge kills the guy who killed him, and makes up a new move as a parting gift, sounds like a pretty satisfying death to me.

@fizzles5 And with that, Simon is the only one that can operate Lagann, with his little glowing drill shaped key. And if Simon was the one who died, then what would happen to Nia? Die with the rest of “dolls” in the capsule graveyard.

@GhettoNanny then it’d never changed just like fizzles said. kamina had to die for the plot to grow. simon wouldve been helpless unless kamina was there and he had to die for simon to realize that he could be strong on his own.
